Designed by Emirati Studio, this project transforms the palm tree into a beautiful light source, illuminating indoor and outdoor spaces.
The design is based on preserving honourable natural resources. The use of recycled wood from Palm residue or Palm trunks are used for the construction of the base. Crystals used to form the palm fruits were made from repurposed glass while the wires are made from manufacturing waste.
Initial inspiration is taken from Palm Tree and its avid use in the past generation for building, feeding, and crafting equipment. Till now the palm tree plays a significant role in the streets and districts. This piece showcases how recyclable materials can be repurposed in better ways that align with present requirements while enhancing the beauty of the surrounding environment.
