Interiors from Spain is an initiative of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, a government agency aimed at promoting design from Spain: furniture, lighting, textiles, tiles, kitchen and bath fittings, rugs and decorative accessories.
Since 2019, Interiors from Spain has been participating uninterruptedly in Downtown Design, debuting with an installation curated by Stone Design. In previous editions, they collaborated with significant figures in architecture and design in the UAE, such as Juan Roldán, Associate Professor at AUS, who designed and curated the sustainable installation in 2021.
For its fifth year, Interiors from Spain has commissioned Kristina Brateng from the local B8 Architecture studio to create a Spanish oasis at Downtown Design.
