Designed by an Emirati designer, Mudkhar is a contemporary incense package design inspired by the traditional Medkhana (Emirati incense tool).
The design of the Medkhana draws inspiration from the Al Sadu motif “Mudkhar,” which originates from the word “Zakhar,” meaning “to blossom.” “Mudkhar” is linked to the idea of fragrance and evokes cherished memories of the past
The design seeks to elevate UAE culture to international prominence by using traditional Al Sadu forms as a foundation to innovate interactive incense diffusers. It aims to preserve UAE heritage by seamlessly blending it with contemporary design elements.
