Responsibilities:
- Be the guide for the hosted Trade/Connect participants for their full 2-day itinerary, accompanying them and closely monitor their attendance at the events planned for them
- Coordinate with the Audience Programme Coordinator constantly during the 2 days to update activity/report who is absent/not turned up
- Assist hosted participants onsite if help is required in way finding for meetings at the booths
The ideal candidate should be able to do the following:
- Be willing to work outside of normal working hours (9am to 6pm) and days (Monday-Friday) during the project if necessary
- Work and organise content proficiently using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of digital platforms such as Google docs, sheets and slides
- The role requires a candidate who is dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working and organized
- Professional demeanour and diplomatic approach
- Excellent communication
- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
- Capacity for initiative, long-term planning and decision-making
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure, for long hours when necessary
- Ability to quickly integrate into a new environment and work within the given structure
- Accurate and reliable work
- Calm, well-mannered and always friendly
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in Arabic is preferred
- Relevant experience in assisting and working on large-scale events preferred
