Inspired by pop-up books that take the written and the illustrated into the third dimensions, this scene is set inside the mind of designers, and indeed the larger public who suddenly found themselves working from home.
As lines between the home and office blurred, the space inside one’s mind shrunk. The installation give a physical sense to the internal confusion that was thus caused by the pandemic. Chaos and creativity overlap to represent both complicated minds and the complexity of the situation in a tangible, yet fantastical manner.
