The pandemic is a problem that will be solved by medicine and not cured by architecture, but concepts of flexibility are likely to be the way forward for us to build more resilient communities. 

Moving forward, the notions of lightness, suppleness and the ability to allow for program change based on sudden economic fluctuations, social and population changes will lend organic adaptability for economic, environmental change which is critical for the architecture and design discipline to remain relevant and connect meaningfully with the wider issues.

From approaching residential design of the future through the standardization of plot sizes and an integrated approach to architecture and interior design that can deliver holistic solutions, to reimagining our community centers as the spine of neighbourhood that is designed to grow and change with the population, based on ongoing research and the current climate, the studio explore a range of spatial, material and construction tech for solutions with inherent flexibility.
