Located in an urban green belt along the outer perimeter of Kuwait City that was established to cultivate and nurture the arts, history and culture all year round, the proposal seeks to redefine the conventions of a traditional mall experiences, offering a road map of tangible and adaptive solutions for both the operators as well as the neighborhood.
Based on the studio’s philosophy of the ‘collective playground experience’, the proposal brings together activities and ambient environments that could provide users with a multitude of ever-changing environments and experiences enhanced by digital tech.
The mall features a unique green rooftop park, digital retail experiences, immersive use of technology, integration of F&B areas with the interior/exterior environment and the concept of 'play' extended throughout all areas of the building to create a unique user experience.
