The sculptural panel systems offer a seamless multi-dimensional wall covering. To ensure complete accuracy during installation, each of the sculptural design is created using a combination of traditional hard sculpting and computer aided design.
Their Signature Collection is inspired by Italian heritage and Creative Director, Duncan MacKeller’s artistic interpretation of natural forms and surface effects. These artisan finishes represent the highest level of product mastery, redefining the technique and underlining Armourcoat’s lead role in the industry. Creating rich, opulent and luxurious interiors, each Signature polished plaster finish is presented in a unique color hand selected by Duncan to complement the design.
Armourcoat polished plaster adds a touch of ‘modern luxury’ to the latest J&M Davidson boutique in London’s fashionable Mayfair. When asked to describe the project, Jason Holley of Universal Design Studio said, "we chose polished plaster by Armourcoat for its tactile qualities and its ability to create an exact color match to the exterior facade,” explains Holley. “With this match we were able to create the dusty pink tone for the feature wall, which gave a dramatic backdrop to the cantilevered staircase. It was also important for us to use only natural, high-quality materials with a long life span". The focal point of the store is the impressive, cantilevered staircase made from terrazzo marble with a leather-wrapped handrail, set into a series of vertical panels finished in Armuralia polished plaster.
