East meets Middle East as designers from TDW springboard into Downtown Design. Three minimal and modern designs find the perfect platform at this year’s DTD show.
As Designers’ Week entered its 10th year, the fair included more than 200 designers, 100 designer brands, and featured international exhibitors from Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, and Singapore. TDW’s theme of ‘Impact: see the influence of design’ examines the force of change design can have by injecting positive energy into society.
This creative collision will be showcased at Downtown Design with collections from Flexible Love, META Design, and ViiCHENDESIGN.
Flexible Love’s dynamic seating options are ergonomic and environmentally friendly. The series: Earth, Marble, and Sandstone, are made with beautifully minimal, 100% recycled craft paper and wood fibreboard
All Products – Flexible Love
META Design continues the wood theme with a series of subtle, airy lamps for table, wall, ceiling, and floor. Cleverly engineered with touch control and adjustability, they’re high tech with a comfortable, low tech feel.
SLICEs – META Design
Texture comes alive within ViiCHENDESIGN’s products, whether it’s the Table Zoo chinaware featuring animal leather patterns, decorative striped glass and rose copper containers, or the visible texture of Interlaced, lamps made from delicate wire mesh.
