Founded in 1960, Illulian is headed by Shahnaz Illulian and her sons Davis and Bendis Ronchetti who set the benchmark for antique and modern rugs. Its rugs transcend furnishing pieces to become coveted objets d’art that retain their charm unaltered over time.
Illulian’s prestigious showrooms, located in Milan’s fashion quarter on Via Manzoni, showcase a range of antique, rare rugs and tapestries in one; with the other reserved for the latest design trends. Both showrooms’ collections are set against contemporary furniture, luxurious fabrics and unique objects that are carefully crafted down to the smallest details.
Design Collection
Modern minimalist design with floral and geometric motifs keep these rugs on trend. The range is visually exhilarating with inspiration from art or nature combined with brilliant colours for irresistible appeal.
Palace Collection
The rugs in the Palace Collection have a distinctive character that appeals to a more classical taste, and while a key role is played by motifs taken from ancient documents, these rugs go well even in the most modern environments.
Limited Edition
The Limited Edition collection includes pieces styled by famous artists such as Bob Krieger, Dario Ballantini, Alessandro La Spada and designer Karim Rashid. In 2015, new exclusive rugs designed by Marcelo Burlon | County of Milan, Marco Lodola, Guido Crepax and Alessandro Enriquez were added to the collection.
