Saccal Design House brings their Nostalgia series, a visual reminiscence of 90's summer days spent in the mountains of Lebanon.
Visually attracting, sensory and mysterious; Saccal Design House aims to evoke emotion and instill a sense of wonder and ambiguity that is explored at different scales and in different media and materials.
This year, they presented the Nostalgia series that consist of rocking chair, a console, tables, a lamp and serving platters constructed from natural stone and raw wood with injections of brass. The hero piece in the ‘Nostalgia’ collection is the Lamp, which uses the remains of travertine blocks that is sourced from marble factories for solid blocks that are considered otherwise waste.
Inspired from the aesthetic of old lamps, Saccal Design House reshaped a familiar form, updating it with precious detailing and a stripped back stance to deliver great visual impact that is devoid of clutter.
