The 110-year-old iconic Danish brand Georg Jensen has a reputaiton for artistic boldness, superior craftsmanship, and creative collaborations with some of the foremost designers. This legacy will be on display at this year’s Downtown Design.
This new collaboration with Patricia Urquiola boasts crisper, stricter, simpler lines to Georg Jensen stainless steel – a departure from the existing fluid, organic shapes. The Urquiola Collection brings a new look that fits naturally into the broader Georg Jensen offering.
The Georg Jensen Urquiola Collection is a strikingly modern group of cylindrical shapes in stainless steel. Subtle Art Deco references remain beautifully minimalist in this collection of five pitchers, three bowls, two vases, two candleholders and a tray. The pieces feature clean, mirror-polished stainless steel surfaces paired with ribbed stainless steel and, on a selection of the pieces, a durable, rose gold-colored PVD finish.
