Downtown Design exhibitor, Munna is a young Portuguese brand that specializes in bringing a modern twist to classic furniture designs.
The brand’s pieces have been picked up by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and David Byrne, as well as numerous five-star hotels around the world including the Four Seasons Baku, Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi, Sheraton Burj Al Salam Dubai and many more.
Munna’s products have been raved about in the international press: Living Magazine Brazil describes the Lolita Armchair as bringing “the nightclub vibe to your home”; Absolutely Magazine states “This Babe armchair is too cool for school... so buy it for the home instead” and the Financial Times recommended Munna to its readers in the publication’s ‘How to Spend It’ column: “As people increasingly look for provenance, craftsmanship and a backstory when buying furniture, we think they will be very excited by these designs.”
Munna’s sofas and armchairs have been designed to make a statement; almost like artwork. They have been nominated for the International Product Design Awards for 3 years in a row, and have won twice- in 2013 and 2014. Their furniture collection has been featured at the Harrods Home showroom and the Halo Galleries in Saudi Arabia.
