Chris Boots meets Hermès
Downtown Design exhibitor Christopher Boots, promoted by Melbourne International Design Week, was commissioned by Hermès to create his unique Metamorphosis installation in the window of their New York flagship. Inspired by patterns and structures found in organic living elements and minerals, the artistic crystalline installation brought magic and sparkle to the store during this past winter season.
Christopher combined traditional holiday colours with unpolished crystals and geometric lighting structures, giving the display a contemporary look, each element combining to create a balance between natural forms and materiality.
