The luxury lighting boutique KLOVE returns to Downtown Design with yet another fantastical edit.

Known as India’s ‘Lighting Boys’, KLOVE founders Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth might as well be the poster boys for globalising Indian design. One of the first design studios in the country to embrace atelier culture, they are known for their timeless and bold lighting art designed for the global citizen.

Rooted in contemporary interpretations of Indian culture, KLOVE designs are a result of studio analysis through 3d modelling, experimentation and a strong desire to establish a new understanding of the ‘Made In India’ label.

Traditional Indian architecture, temple jewellery and festivals remain the springboard for the duo’s creative research. The brand’s true success lies in maintaining the richness associated with Indian glass blowing, while imbuing it with a modern sensibility and with the latest in lighting tech.

The clear glass and steel chandelier, Boondh evokes memories of the Indian monsoon; its name and form derived from raindrops. Mandapam extolls the glamour of the Indian wedding pavilion in hand blown glass, Swarovski crystals and brass.

Since it was founded in 2005, the Delhi based lighting brand has amassed a loyal following. Coveted by celebrities and celebrity designers alike, KLOVE continues to blur the line between art and design.
