The nominees are in!
The Commercial Interior Design Awards 2015, set for September 16 at the JW Marriott Marquis, is just around the corner and the judges have finally shortlisted the best design firms in each category. So far, the list includes Interior Designer of the Year, Young Interior Designer of the Year, Interior Design Boutique Firm of the Year, Interior Design Firm of the Year and Behind the Scenes.
This year’s panel of judges includes Downtown Design’s Fair Director, Rue Kothari, among 7 other design industry professionals. This is the second time Kothari will be judging the show:“I first had the opportunity to judge these awards back in 2012, and was impressed with both creativity and ambitions of the projects, even back then,” she said. “I have a feeling that with the ever-increasing opportunities and challenges that this market presents, that I will be seeing a substantial evolution in the standard of submissions, which makes me very fortunate to be part of this year’s judging process.”
