Downtown Design is delighted to announce that the first Harper’s Bazaar Interiors Awards will take place as part of the official Downtown Design 2014 programme. The event will feature 12 award categories, ranging from statement lighting and textiles to fashion-inspired furniture and new technologies.
The awards demonstrate the growing interest in designers and commercial interior design in the region, recognizing and rewarding the most successful products, brands and designers in commercial interior design whist celebrating the most promising emerging talent both locally and internationally.
The entries for each category will be short-listed by an impartial judging panel that will include an internationally-renowned designer, an accomplished creative director and Harper’s Bazaar Interiors editor in chief, Rue Kothari. Further voting will be conducted online, where readers will be able to vote for their favourite in each category.
The awards categories include: Best Lighting Brand, Best Textile Brand, Best Furniture Brand, Best Outdoor, Best Tableware, Most Innovative Brand, Best Technology Brand, Most Eco-Conscious Brand, Best Fashion to Furniture Brand, Best Kitchen Design, Best Bathroom Design and Best Emerging Design.
The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of October 29th 2014.
