Exhibitor Hacker celebrates 5 years in the UAE and brings its world-first tropicalized kitchen to Downtown Design 2015.

Downtown Design 2015 exhibitor Hacker Kitchensthe definitive German luxury kitchen company, is celebrating five years in the UAE and a strong 30% year on year growth since its flagship Dubai showroom opened on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Founded in 1898, Hacker is the largest independently owned kitchen manufacturer in Germany with over 50 dealers and 1,100 employees worldwide. 680 kitchens are produced daily in Rodinghausen and 40% of these kitchens are exported all over the world. The company now employs 30 staff in the UAE across sales, marketing, operations, warehouse and customer service and, last year opened a second UAE showroom in Abu Dhabi.

Samir Ranavaya, MD of Hacker Kitchens and Rolf-Benz UAE, comments: Here at Hacker we are dedicated to designing and crafting the worlds most desirable kitchens and were immensely proud of what weve achieved in the last five years. Consumers in the UAE are not afraid to take chances with their homes, they are brave and adventurous when it comes to interiors. When you add in the fact that many properties here are larger than those in Europe, it makes for some very exciting kitchen creations.

Weve seen the market ebb and flow over the last five years to the stable position that it is  experiencing now. Exhibiting at Downtown Design is a real milestone in our development and we see the event as a platform to help to grow our business in the UAE and the region. Weve made a real contribution to the rapidly expanding UAE interiors market and we feel confident that the market will continue to grow.

Hacker introduced an industry first that is now a benchmark in quality: the worlds only tropicalized kitchen that the company will display, along with other models at Downtown Design 2015. Specifically designed for the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions, these kitchens are specially sealed and treated with an anti-fungal layer. The manufacturing process used a sealant that expands and stretches with temperature. This makes the cabinets less penetrable by moisture, therefore increasing durability.

Hacker Kitchens are in the UAEs most impressive penthouses:  Princess Tower, La Reve, The Fairmont, Oceana, Tiara, Cayan Tower, Orra Marina and Jumierah Beach Residences, to name a few.
