Occupying a dedicated section within the Downtown Design venue (6-9 November, 2024), Editions will combine the assets of the region’s two most successful fairs, Art Dubai and Downtown Design.
Editions will offer access to a diverse array of editioned works showcased by 50+ galleries, design studios and collectives, exhibiting works exclusively in the fields of prints, contemporary design, photography, ceramics, and works on paper. Offering pieces at a range of price points, Editions will provide a unique opportunity for both cultural enthusiasts and collectors alike, to access a new segment of the art and design market yet to be widely showcased in the region.
Managed by the Art Dubai Group, the fair will cater to the largest database of collectors in the region, the exponential growth of wealth moving to Dubai as well as the unprecedented demand in Dubai's luxury property market.
Established in 2007, The Art Dubai Group has been a platform for cultural exchange and discovery that has been committed to driving new creative developments through its unique programming. Editions will bring together the audiences and programming of two of its major events: Downtown Design, the region’s leading fair high-quality and contemporary design and Art Dubai, the Middle East's leading international art fair, and further expand on the investment in this region’s creatives.
The move for Art Dubai Group comes at a significant time for the region, specifically Dubai. With an influx of post-pandemic high-net-worth residents, the Emirate is on an exponential growth trajectory which is seeing impact on its cultural landscape, as demonstrated in The Artsy Art Fair Report 2024, where Dubai was ranked seventh in the world’s most important art fair city in the world. Strategic government investments and initiatives, such as Editions, will add to the foundations already laid for the city’s cultural economy to grow into a sustainable network of opportunities.
Editions will debut alongside the region’s leading fair for high-quality and contemporary design, Downtown Design, and be a key fixture of Dubai Design Week, held in strategic partnership with d3. The event will take place on 6-9 November 2024, on the Waterfront Terrace of Dubai Design District (d3).
