Premiered on 10 November 1400 Hrs (GST), this panel discussion was moderated by Jane O’Neil, the Editor of Commercial Interior Design magazine.

With technology intermediating our lives like never before, how has our human-centric profession adapted to this hyper-digital age? Can this intersection of tech and design deliver a more equitable world?

This panel discussion featured Agata Kurzela, the Dubai-based architect and design, and Founder of Agata Kurzela Studio, Matthew Utley, Architect and Principal, Grimshaw, Nuru Karim, the founder of the award-winning Indian design firm NUDES and Riyad Joucka founder of the progressive design practice, MEAN - Middle East Architecture Network. The intersection of design and tech is nothing new to our panelist – from 3D printing PPE to exploring AI enabled construction tech, they have done it all. Here they discussed the merits and pitfalls of our newfound ease with tech.
