In its third year, Downtown Design is building on its established success by inviting a greater diversity of brands and product categories from a wider geographical area while maintaining existing standards of quality, craftsmanship and creativity.

Located in a thriving geo-hub and as the only platform for luxury contemporary design in the region, the fair provides brands with many commercial advantages including easy access to buyers and specifiers from MENA’s rapidly expanding list of developments. Rue Kothari has built considerable local knowledge over a decade living in the UAE. As the former Editor in Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Interiors; Rue was responsible for raising it from a fledgling title to one of the most respected luxury interior magazines in the Middle East and beyond. Rue combines regional insight with a passion for design and architecture, and is a firm advocate of local talent. “To be a part of Downtown Design, and utilize both my knowledge of and devotion to the region’s burgeoning design industry, is a great privilege.
