Kristalia was established in 1994 by young entrepreneurs from Friuli, Northeast Italy, who share two great passions: design and jazz.
From the outset, Kristalia has given special attention to innovative design projects through experimentation, searching for new technical solutions and using materials borrowed from the fields of fashion and sport.
A relatively young company, Kristalia distinguishes itself from other leading furniture brands through their expertise and confidence in using increasingly complex technologies, constantly pushing the boundaries of design and functionality. Their product’s simple features, versatile nature in settings and ongoing emphasis on the need to combine quality with innovations, helps continually create unique and recognizable products.
With a desire to promote the greatest freedom of expression for its designers, product consistency is central at Kristalia. A common path of formal minimalism is the distinctive feature whilst ensuring credibility for the entire range of products.
The natural hide chair - The 1085 Edition
The natural hide chair is a timeless chair made from a timeless natural material. Materials used to create this chair have the influence to challenge time – the hide’s color and texture may change over time but its aesthetic quality and functionality remains there in providing consistency for the user.
The “Hole table” is a collabration between Kristalia’s technology and Japanese industrial designer, Kensaku Oshiro’s creativity. It is a table featuring an original base and oval hole. The oval hole is a softly moulded shape in sheet metal which involved many moulding and bending processes.
