During Dubai Design Week, the leading industry platform will host two poignant digital talks that include a sequence of expert panelists, each with years of industry experience.

Creative Problem Solvers

Different trends, clients, and types of projects all require the creative mind to adapt, whilst simultaneously building something that is unique and original. This talk will focus on the creative mind, and how it can be utilised for problem solving. Hosted and moderated by our regional, hospitality design queen, Isabel Pintado, who brings her years of industry expertise to the table, expert panelists, such as Robbie Bargh, Director and Founder of the London-based concept agency, Gorgeous Group, who has worked with multiple, global, hospitality brands, along with Samantha Cotterell, Design Director at the Royal Commision of AlUla, will shed light on the alternative emerging structures and solutions, and what possible approaches are proving more efficient than others – ones that designers and creatives can adopt and learn from to navigate new realities. The panelists are a strong group of creatives who are currently in the midst of these changes, and will discuss how we strive for originality whilst adapting to this new future that we find ourselves in.

Wellness, the New Gold Standard

Is luxury living being redefined with an entirely holistic and wellness-based approach? What encompasses this new lifestyle? And how do we go about deploying this in our spaces?

Love That Design’s second talk focuses on luxury living, and how it has moved from feeding the physical being and its desires, to feeding the body and soul through wellness – a healthy lifestyle, materials that promote a safe environment that is good for the body, technology that aids and eases your daily existence, and habits that make you feel like a fantastic human being. ‘Wellness, The New Gold Standard’ will feature residential and hospitality designers alongside a psychologist specialising in the environment and the human, as well as a leading, elite manufacturer of wellness equipment. This talk will give us a full, 360 degree viewpoint on how this highly crucial aspect of human existence has pervaded heavily into luxury, millennial architecture and interior design.

Lena Marcuccilli, Head of Content at Love That Design, will moderate the conversation, diving deep into this holistic and metaphysical shift in luxury interiors. We especially want to hear what Psychologist Briar Jacques of the Free Spirit Project has to offer with her astute viewpoint on interior design and emotional intelligence, along with LW Design’s Alexandra Cantacuzene, who will bring residential and hospitality design thoughts to the conversation.
