First time exhibitor Chattels & More is a Dubai-based concept store that offers contemporary furniture without the exorbitant price tag.
Launched in January 2016, Chattels & More setup their first store in Dubai’s Um Hurair district, close to Maktoum Bridge. Targeting the city’s mid- to high-range home interiors market, the brand features quality, modern design items and accessories for the home, all of which have been sourced from unique vendors and artisans across Europe.
The brand specifically picks colors for their collection that are muted and designed to be dressed up with colorful accessories: “Our intention is to offer interesting, unusual furniture for every kind of shopper,” says Adrian Shaw, General Manager of Chattels & More.
From single chairs, coffee tables and lamps to sofa suites, dining sets and bedroom furniture, customers can select from a wide array of pieces at their flagship showroom in Dubai. Prices range from AED 200 for accessories up to AED 50,000 plus for complete furniture sets.
“As Dubai continues to welcome residents with varied cultural influences and choices, there is always a niche for home furniture and accessories that make a statement in terms of both design and concept,” says Abdulla Al Gurg, Group General Manager at Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, the Dubai-based business group behind Chattels & More. “Our wealth of retail experience in the interiors sector enabled us to spot a niche in the market for such quality furniture and furnishings which are not only individual and well-designed, but also affordable.”
