Ben-Tovim Design creates Off-Piste Bench made of Snow Skis

Downtown Design exhibitor, Ben-Tovim Design was asked to create a one off piece for a new exhibition concept called 1-OK club that will run until the 7^th of September at the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia. 

The piece by Ben-Tovim, named Off-Piste Bench, is an exploration of the aesthetics and material properties of snow skis, re-configured into a piece of furniture.

1-OK club is a platform started by the guys from Lab De Stu – including Andre Hnatojko, another Downtown Design exhibitor - for Australian designers to exhibit and sell one-off design pieces.

Both Ben-Tovim Design and Andre Hnatojko will be exhibiting with Melbourne Design Week as part of the Destination initiative at this year’s Downtown Design.
