German brand Gaggenau celebrates four centuries of bringing heritage, evolution and innovation to life, by launching their new generation of high tech appliances at Downtown Design.

Innovation leader in design and technology, Gaggenau launches at Downtown Design an exciting range of high-quality home appliances. With a history dating back to 1683, Gaggenau has revolutionized the domestic kitchen with its internationally acclaimed products.

The brand’s success is founded on technological innovation and a clear design language combined with high functionality. Gaggenau challenges the established, breaking the mould when and where it makes sense in order to pave the way for new and innovative ideas. This notion of avant-garde is the basis for their four main design principles that apply to all appliances: They are authentic, sculptural, present and generous.

To commemorate this landmark, Gaggenau launches at Downtown Design a range of appliances that embody its design philosophy of timeless craftsmanship that meets innovative design.

In the year Gaggenau celebrates its 333rd anniversary, it’s most iconic appliance turns 30. Launching at Downtown Design, the EB 333 is an evolution of its most iconic appliance, the 90 cm-wide oven that offers modernized design and functionality.  This new model showcases upgraded technology and quality standards while staying true to its origins by linking Gaggenau’s past and present with its future. The most striking new design feature of the 90 cm wide oven is its door: a vast, single piece of 3 mm thick stainless steel, creating a powerfully sleek and sophisticated façade. The door also enlists new technology that provides soft opening and closing to enhance the overall user experience.

A world first innovation- Gaggenau has developed a groundbreaking backlighting concept for its dishwasher 400 series with the interior of the dishwasher being illuminated in an instant, greatly enhancing both its overall aesthetic and the user experience. As part of its ongoing commitment to providing extraordinary excellence in the private kitchen, the new design uses six LED panels placed on the back wall that light up at the same time as the two existing LED lights at the top front of the appliance to perfectly illuminate the entire interior from every angle. All of the design and functionality featured in the preceding dishwasher 400 series remain, including a push-to-open system for a handle-less door, smooth running rails and cushioned closing, all of which help to provide a seamless user experience. In addition, the dishwasher 400 series uses Zeolite technology, which has set new industry standards in providing the highest level of cleaning and drying whilst being extremely energy efficient.
