Jaipur Rugs, a family business strengthened by the purpose of protecting ancestral know-how and connecting rural craftsmanship with global consumers, uses the traditional art form of handmade carpets as a tool to empower the vast network of artisans and weavers
Bridge the gap between the two ends of the spectrum, Jaipur Rugs, founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary with just two looms, now has over 7000 looms and sells in over 65 countries. Today, the company creates contemporary works of art by collaborating with creative talents capable of showcasing this traditional craft with a new vision.
Returning to Downtown Design 2022, Jaipur Rugs will present their laest collections including distinctive handmade pieces from ‘Brahmand’ designed in collaboration with renowned design Ashiesh Shah and ‘Indie Rose’, designer Vinita Chaitanya's lifetime of observations—of nature, gardens, colors, texture, and techniques.
