Doodle and the Gang was formed in 2022 by the Said sisters, Mentalla and Asmaa Said.
The studio experiments with different forms and materials to create emotive objects and furniture pieces that breathe life and bring awareness to our surroundings. With a fascination of the past and exceptional rigour to explore the future, the sisters aim to create pieces that pay tribute to traditional craft combined with an idiosyncratic and contemporary approach.
Their first collection, Volume I, will launch at this year’s fair and includes furniture pieces hand built by local artisans as well as ceramic pieces made by the award-winning sisters themselves.
