Founded in 1993, Camelot is a home-grown, family-run furniture studio based in Mumbai.
An ode to India’s British colonial and Art Deco eras, the brand’s original focus was to source vintage treasures from across the country and restore them to their former glory.
Over the years Camelot has evolved, and today, with the help of a skilled team of third-generation artisans and craftsmen, they manufacture custom handcrafted pieces, using traditional dovetail mortise and tenon joinery. The mother-daughter duo are at the epicenter of the brand and work closely at every stage of sourcing, refurbishing, design and production to ensure the highest quality products are delivered from start till finish.
Camelot strives, daily, to be more sustainable and environmentally conscious by primarily using seasoned and reclaimed hardwoods (such as teakwood, rosewood and mahogany) for all new and custom designs.
