UNIQ∙Ǝ! offers freedom to give shape to whatever the designer envisions, without limitations to ideas and creativity, giving life to innovative and original objects, as a small range or even a single component.
This is only possible through the use of cutting-edge technology in additive manufacturing applications, already extensively used in the aerospace and automotive industry, combined with UNIQ∙Ǝ!’s expertise and competence of faucet production.
Above all, the 34 years of experience and collaboration with some of the most significant companies in the sanitary fittings field, makes UNIQ∙Ǝ! a superlative partner, able to offer advanced consultation to the architects and designers they assist, regarding functional and printing issues as well as finishing.
Starting from either a modest sketch or a proper 3D drawing, UNIQ∙Ǝ! carries and promotes the concept throughout the entire development process, all the way up to its final materialization. From the start, UNIQ∙Ǝ! evaluates the specifications required for the project, its manufacturing details and solutions, the product’s functionality to ensure its conformity with international standards, and guarantees the production of an extraordinary product.
3D technology uses pure metals and encourages surface finishes with a very low impact on both the environment, employees and workers. The range of applicable materials which, in accordance with the most stringent world regulations, are lead-free alloys that amplify the expressive possibilities and add further value and exclusivity to the project. Among these materials are stainless steel AISI 316L, EN 1.4404, titanium, titanium alloys, and precious metals: silver, gold and palladium.
Additionally, surface finishes like PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), free of nickel or chrome, coincide perfectly with environmental sustainability in addition to the philosophy of attention to detail and personalization.
The UNIQ∙Ǝ! project evolved over 6 years ago from a collaboration of experts, specialists and expertise centres like the Polytechnic University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano) with whom UNIQ∙Ǝ! has collaborated since 2017. The intention was to study and investigate how new technological opportunities, like additive manufacturing, benefits formal possibilities and how the new digital aesthetic can enrich the world of faucets and sanitary fittings.
This entrepreneurial reasoning that characterizes UNIQ∙Ǝ! is based on the necessity to explore the boundaries of faucet design through experimentation that only the most advanced technology will allow, with the intention of achieving the extreme value of project uniqueness.
The new business concept conquers the industrial limits of mass production and positions itself at the forefront of a lean and sustainable business model that opens doors to the future.
