At the Downtown Design 2020 Digital Fair, Tala launched their latest collection titled BASALT.
The Basalt Nine Drop in Brass is designed to mimic the textures of natural formations, sand casting with brass was the selected as the preferred process. Sand casting requires incredible skill and patience. The molten brass is poured into a series of custom moulds for each small production batch.
