Marc Ange creates objects, spaces, and furniture, inspired by his surreal universe. Born and raised in Rome, the designer’s conceptualizations are balanced between real and unreal, perfection and imperfection, harmony and dissonance-coming together as an incarnation of his unconscious.
Currently, Marc Ange is developing concepts for private homes, restaurants and hotels, transforming the traditional approach to architecture, art and design his Studio Bloom Room has been transformed into Studio Ange', where he and his team develop iconic creations for the most revolutionary brands across the globe.
At the Downtown Design 2020 Digital Fair, Marc Ange presented two new products. Le Refuge Sconce and Le Refuge Library from their collection.
Both pieces carry the same fantastical quality that made Le Refuge an instant icon. A nest of palm leaves support barely-there shelves to create a floating bookcase, whilst on the wall, the same leaf is lend a dynamic almost in-the-air quality as light filters through an a frosted orb.
