Timeless collections, elegant and without frills, essential but still vivacious, modern but with no compromises with temporary trends. A distinguished style, an inspiring new classic that leaves space for personal interpretation. Furnishings for the living room, the bedroom, the dining area, the library and the outdoor: meticulous signs, precise proportions, essential volumes. Designer and art director Andrea Parisio.
Over the years, the collection has expanded and consolidated, while maintaining a clear direction: the desire to create a range of contemporary products which did not betray the lesson of the past and could give rise to a ‘timeless’ collection, able to assimilate the new trends and transcend the whims of the more extreme design.
As an artistic director Parisio coordinates the brand image, designs the corporate showrooms and stores and the exhibition settings at the international furniture shows.
At the Downtown Design Digital Fair 2020, Meridiani showcased three new peices.
The Zeno: A three legged dining table with a strong design identity suggesting a precious retro appeal.
The Owen: A pedestal dining table, available in standard dining heights. Marbles, lacquers, woods and bronzed brass offer multiple interpretations.
The Harold: A versatile seating system, designed for both home and contract environments, that thanks to linear, asymmetrical and curved elements gives life to the most diverse configurations. Rigorous lines are slightly smoothened by soft curves and made precious by a basting stitching, visible on both frame and cushions. Harold offers two backrests in different thicknesses for all the seating units and can be complemented by armrests available in two thicknesses and heights.
