This Belgian luxury leather brand was originally founded in the 1960s by Isaac Stolz as a producer of Apparel Leather. Stolz took advantage of the popularity of the leather jacket in the swinging 60s and branched out to become one of the first companies that introduced Upholstery Leather to the European market.
The rising standard of living during the 70s was a fertile ground for a rapidly growing Furniture Industry, hence the demand for Luxury Leather. In the mid-90s, Stolz developed further a very strong offering and expanded its focus to export to International markets where it started the stocking of large quantities of Leather in different colors, and finishes and offered the possibility of customization. Stolz caters to a wide segment with its main focus remains on Seat and Furniture Manufacturers, Yacht and Car Interiors, Office furniture and Hospitality & Residential projects.
