Based in Ahmedabad, India, since 2011 and under the aegis of Amrish Patel (Principal) and architect Darshan Soni (Design Director), the AR design practice has been developing proficiency in Architectural design, Interior design, Products design and more recently in Functional art, Art bespoke.
We’ve found through our experiences that a good design is born out of a thorough understanding of materials, environment, and purpose amalgamated with sound aesthetic sensibilities. Continuous innovation in the process and honest inquiry into how it could be developed further, helps us evolve alongside that which we make.
With the right quality of design intervention even the ordinary can transcend the mundane to become a singular extraordinary experience, be it an object recurring in everyday life or the most unique.

Our hope with Downtown Design is to bring forth our ideas and share it with an audience that can relate to our aesthetic sensibilities. To that end, we will be exhibiting ideas in the form of artworks that have never been seen before as well as some of our popular works of functional art.
