Il laboratorio dell'imperfetto designs and creates—in its Gambettola-based factory—fibreglass, wood and leather objects that reflect the idea of uniqueness and exclusivity, as implied by the brand name’s allusion to the imperfect. Il laboratorio dell'imperfetto’s material of choice is fiberglass because it is light and suitable for indoor use, however, as it is resistant to rain and sunlight it can also be used for outdoors. Each piece produced is made from a mould, and then hand sanded, painted and polished. This working process makes every single work by the brand unique and peculiar.
